Enjoy Summer Delight:
ARENA helps you choose the best swimsuit to fit YOUR body figure

As summer approaches, many are seizing this opportunity to exercise and lose weight so they can look their best when enjoying a sunbath on the beach. Besides undergoing intensive swimming sessions, it is also important that they select a suitable swimwear design to enjoy the summer swims to the fullest. So given the variety of swimwear choices, how should you choose the most suitable design and style? For men, women and children choosing their swimwear, is there anything to look out for? ARENA can provide you with the answers.

Men
There is a misconception that men do not have many concerns when it comes to choosing their swimwear, but there are many considerations that men should take note of. For example, men need to select the best swimwear according to the size of their thighs. Those with thicker thighs would be more suited for briefs and trunks which provide greater flexibility and comfort. Those with thinner thighs are more suited for trunks and jammers. The final decision would lie with choosing an appropriate size according to men’s waistline.

Women
Swimsuits reveal the beauty and imperfections of women’s bodies. It is therefore important for women to select the right swimwear to enhance the beauty and hide any imperfections. For women with relatively flat chests, it is recommended that they select a stylish bandeau or a cute round-cup bikini top. Bikini tops with tassels or laces will also add some embellishment and push up pads will provide chest enhancements for swimsuits.

For those who wish to have thinner waists, the best choice would be an elongating two-piece swimsuit. The upper part of the swimwear is tighter and the lower part is looser, forming an A-shape which enhances the curvy body. An alternative would be a 1-piece swimsuit with darker colors on both sides, which visually modifies the waistline and allows the user to appear thinner. Skirts with ruffles and fish-tail shaped ends will also help to cover up.

Those with bigger bottoms are recommended to select flat leg shorts instead of triangular ones to prevent unnecessary exposure. In choosing your style of skirts, an A-shaped design would be more suitable in covering up. Also, tops with a pale or light color will help to draw the attention to the upper body instead of the lower body.

Females with slight belly bulges can choose elongating tops or looser tops which can cover the bulges. Bikinis and low cut bottoms are not recommended, as they will reveal the protruding tummies.

This year, ARENA launched series of swimwear of different designs and styles which feature bright colors. Refreshing colors such as pink, blue, green and orange are available for different types of swimwear. One can even wear the swimsuit to the beach directly without having to change into it at the beach.

Kids
The choice of children swimwear is largely based on their body type. The chubbier children should select two-piece sun protection or Neoprene swimwear to reduce the discomfort of a one-piece suit. The thinner ones are more suited for one-piece sun protection or Neoprene suits which are more convenient to put on. During cooler weather, children can put on two-piece sun protection swimwear before covering it with a Neoprene jacket which will keep them warm. This prevents them from sun burns and catching colds.

Maintenance
After purchasing the most suitable swimwear, the next step is to wash and maintain it. Using fabric softeners or liquids which contain chemicals will cause damage to the material fibers, reducing the elasticity of the swimwear. ARENA suggests that users hand wash their swimwear and dry it without direct contact with the sunlight. Also, users should avoid rubbing the swimwear against rough surfaces and ironing or blow-drying the swimwear.
